The United Missionary Primary Teachers’ Training Institute (UMPTTI) is an esteemed institution which caters to the need of producing dedicated, well trained and disciplined teachers. It has been one of the most renowned institutions for Primary Teachers’ Training in West Bengal, since its foundation, in the year 1908. The Institute has seen many successful batches of teachers walk out of the gates as leaders, guides and facilitators.

The institute is fully funded by the Government of West Bengal under the affiliation of WBBPE and recognisation of NCTE.The Institution stands upright with a verdant lawn and garden which renders the premises with a tranquil environment for the students to learn and practice their lessons. The Institute also makes sure that social as well as spiritual discipline is taught to produce honest, sincere and principled teachers for the welfare and advancement of our society.
